Geneva premiere on 2 decembre 2008
On behalf of the 'Cancer is...' partners, donors and crew, mondofragilis network is proud to announce the exclusive premiere of the first episode of the four-part film series 'Cancer is...' to be held at the International Conference Center Geneva (CICG), Tuesday 2 December 2008 at 13:30.
'Cancer is...' is a full length, high-definition documentary series that tells us where cancer is today. The series was produced by mondofragilis network in partnership with WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), IAEA's Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy (PACT) and the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) and with its partner donors the American Cancer Society and Sanofi-Pasteur MSD.
Filmed in over 30 countries on five continents, 'Cancer is...' features interviews with the world's preeminent scientists, leading oncologists, cancer institute directors, health ministers, senior United Nations officials, patient group leaders and survivors. The series reveals the world of cancer including the hope, the research, the collaboration, the funding and the political support.
